The trial period for PRTG OPC UA Server is 30 days. In order to continue using it after that time, you will need to select a commercial OPC UA Server subscription.
The PRTG OPC UA Server trial contains the entire feature set, as included in the “Professional” subscription level. For more details about this, see “What is the difference between the license levels?” or our pricing page.
Although PRTG OPC UA Server is an extension for Paessler PRTG, it is initially only offered for Paessler PRTG Network Monitor. This means you need a license for PRTG Network Monitor with a valid maintenance contract in order to be able to use a commercial subscription of PRTG OPC UA Server. You can also use the trial/freeware edition of Paessler PRTG Network Monitor for the trial of PRTG OPC UA Server.
You need to fill out the request form and send us your complete order information, as well as the details of your PRTG Network Monitor license. In case your maintenance for the PRTG Network Monitor license has expired, please renew your maintenance contract before you send us your order request for PRTG OPC UA Server.

Currently only Windows operating systems that adhere to the requirements on our PRTG Requirements page are supported. Future support of Linux and ARM based devices is planned – feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team to get the latest information about when this will be available.
You need the latest version of PRTG Network Monitor, as it includes the production-ready version of the new API, which is needed for the connection. The API keys are available in your PRTG Web interface.
The default port of the new API is <yourprtgserver>:8080
The simplest way is to install it is on the same machine that runs the PRTG core server. If your system architecture requires it, you can also install it on the system of a PRTG remote probe or another device in the same network. The connection between PRTG OPC UA Server and the APIv2 of PRTG Network Monitor is TLS encrypted.
